How
to Apply for Admission to the UCLA EE Department Graduate
Program
(for both U.S. students and International
students)
The
application may not be submitted before September
1, 2006 or after December
15, 2006, in order to be considered
for acceptance for the 2007-2008 school year.
Note that the UCLA EE department accepts applications
for the Fall Quarter only.
Applications
are available online ONLY. Paper copies are NOT AVAILABLE.
The
application process for acceptance to the UCLA EE graduate
program is in two parts.
- The
first part is to electronically submit the online
application, which includes your academic history
and the application fee (also paid electronically).
Note that the application fee is US $60 for
U.S. citizens and permanent residents. The
application fee is US $75 for international
students .
The information you present to the UCLA Graduate Division
through this application process is then made available
to the Electrical Engineering Department.

for details on preparing to apply online, applying online,
and what to do after you apply online.
This
online application includes all additional forms required
by the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied
Science and the Department of Electrical Engineering,
with the exception of the Graduate
Record Examination scores (which must be supplied
to the Department by the Educational Testing Service),
and your transcripts, which you send directly to the
EE Department.
- The
second part of the application process requires you
to submit, in hardcopy, transcripts
from all academic institutions you attended as an undergraduate
(and as a graduate student, if applicable) directly
to the UCLA Electrical Engineering Department,

You
are also required to make arrangements to have your
GRE scores forwarded to the Department.
(Note that international students will need to also
arrange for their TOEFL/IELTS
scores to be sent to the Department)

other required documents are to be filed electronically
together with the application for admission.
